Teacher, Julie McLendon

Julie McLendon is the 4th & 5th Grade Language Arts, Heritage Studies, and 5th Grade Bible teacher at Montgomery Christian Academy. She earned her degrees of Master in Educational Administration and Bachelor of Academic Studies from Sam Houston State University. Mrs. McLendon has been in Education for 15 years, and has served in a multitude of roles, including classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, Literacy Coach, and Administrator.

Mrs. McLendon grew up in Pasadena, Texas with her parents, and older sister. In 2006, she married her husband Patrick, and they have made Montgomery, Texas their home for the last ten years. They have two precious boys, William (11) and Scott (7).  Will is going to Montgomery Junior High School, and is an avid swimmer. Scott will be attending Montgomery Christian Academy in the third grade, and has a passion for playing baseball.  They love to take family vacations, and spend quality time together.

In recent months, Mrs. McLendon has felt that God has been tugging on her heart, and leading her on a new path.  She is beyond excited to join the Montgomery Christian Academy Family! Mrs. McLendon cannot wait to have the opportunity to bring the Word of God into all aspects of her classroom, and watch her students grow into disciples.

Worksheets allow students to demonstrate and improve their knowledge about the Bible passages presented. Good Bible studying techniques are explained and encouraged throughout the text. It also includes lessons for the missionary story Mik-Shrok and the application novel Songbird.
