5th, 6th, 7th Grade English Language Arts
Teacher, Lisa Snyder
Lisa Snyder is our 5th, 6th, & 7th Grade English Language Arts teacher at MCA. Mrs. Snyder is one of five girls, and she is an identical triplet! She received her teaching degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995, and taught early elementary in Conroe and Montgomery for six years.
Mrs. Snyder and her husband, Matt, have been married for twenty-four years. She and Mr. Snyder moved to Montgomery in 2002, when he opened his optometry practice, Montgomery Vision Source. God has blessed them with three wonderful daughters: Annabelle, who attends Baylor University, and Adeline and Audrey, who attend Montgomery Christian Academy. Their family has attended Fellowship of Montgomery since 2013.
Mrs. Snyder has a heart for the Bible, prayer, family, exercise, and healthy living. She has a passion for teaching reading, and believes reading is fundamental to success in all academic areas. Her philosophy is to make learning fun and interactive. She believes all children can learn; however, not all children learn the same way. Mrs. Snyder uses technology and small group instruction to help accommodate individual learning styles. She looks forward to partnering with parents and staff to equip students for a lifetime of learning, faith, and service.
